The food at The Drunken Clam

We have a very small kitchen, and a menu that matches (its on one of the tabs…take a look). Our menu is very simple beach food, and we feel we do it really well. We are particularly well known for our "naked wings" that come in a variety of flavors. In the fall of 2009 a number of the small beach bars from Pass-A-Grille to Madeira Beach got together for a wing contest called "Wingstock". Our Cajun/Parmesian/Garlic wings won first place and have been a guest favorite since.

Best Clammin' Wings On The Beach

We use fresh wings and fry them “naked” without breading. Because they are fresh wings, cook time is normally between 18 and 23 minutes. If we get real busy and our fryers get full, wait time on wings can get longer. We do a variety of dry rubs: Jerk, Cajun, Sriracha, and Salt & Pepper. We also do sauced wings: hot, mild, honey BBQ, Honey Hot, Teriyaki, Thai Chili Hot, Parmesan Garlic and our Award Winning Cajun/Parmesan/Garlic wings. We also have some VERY HOT wing sauces: Fire Ass Hot and Ass Blaster. They are hot, but those who love heat always compliment us on the fact that there is great flavor behind the heat. We offer celery, ranch dressing and our in-house blue cheese dressing as an additional side.

Beach Burger

We use fresh hamburger to make our burgers daily. The buns are toasted on the grill, and the burger is served with lettuce, tomato, onion and a side of our coleslaw.

Seared Ahi Tuna

We take the Ahi Tuna Steak and press it into white and black sesame seeds on both sides. It is then "seared" in sesame oil. We serve it rare, sliced thin with soy sauce, wasabi and seaweed salad. It has been a hit ever since we put it on the menu.

Steamed Shrimp with Old Bay Seasoning

We steam our Peel and Eat shrimp then lightly coat it with a butter sauce and season with Old Bay, Cajun, Sriracha, or Buffalo Sauce. Served with our horseradish cocktail sauce. Normally served hot, but will chill on request.
